Our Story

Welcome to Medina Wellness

Let's help you feel your best naturally. A journey rooted in purpose, passion, and the belief that your body has the power to heal.

From the field to the clinic

The Origin

Dr. Medina's journey began with a baseball injury a shoulder problem that every provider said required surgery. After finally finding lasting relief through chiropractic care, a mission was born.

Early in his career, working with a gym chain in Puerto Rico, he met countless people who had been discouraged from exercising due to medical conditions, many on multiple medications, and resigned to living with pain. He began offering them a different path: one rooted in the body's natural ability to heal.

"People were seeking healing but were often directed toward invasive treatments without being offered alternatives. Dr. Medina believed they deserved better."

The Journey

How we got here

Early Career

Education & discovery

Dr. Medina earned his Bachelor's in General Sciences from Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, then his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University in Marietta, Georgia, one of the nation's leading chiropractic institutions.

Pre-2023

Serving diverse communities

After earning his degree, Dr. Medina worked alongside several healthcare providers, serving diverse communities. He grew frustrated with high-volume, impersonal clinics where patients were rushed and real connection was lost. He knew people deserved care with intention and purpose.

2023

Opening the doors

Dr. Medina opened the clinic with a clear mission: personalized, compassionate care where patients feel heard. Starting from a single room, the clinic quickly grew through strong community support and expanded into a larger space to serve more patients.

2019 & 2022

Mission trips: Haiti & Jamaica

Dr. Medina has participated in international chiropractic mission trips, adjusting and caring for hundreds of underserved patients in Haiti (2019) and Jamaica (2022), living out his commitment to accessible, compassionate care.

Today

Growing & giving back

Today, the team actively participates in local community outreach events, serves both English and Spanish speaking patients, and continues advancing expertise through certifications in disc education, motor vehicle injuries, and more.
